JP Savy - Level 2 Coach - Tennis Ireland
"Originally from the south-west of France, I moved to Ireland and have lived here since 2004. My love for tennis started at a very young age and I got involved in coaching as a teenager for summer jobs in some children's summer camp resorts.
I competed in many tournaments across the country and won many singles/doubles/teams titles in clubs and opens.
At the moment I'm coaching children and adults in different clubs around “Birr Wilmer Tennis Club” which is my original club. Today I have a special interest in the “Enjoy Tennis” programme for players with disability.
Tennis is a very complete sport which needs a lot of physical and mental skills. I believe that your “tennis style reflects your personality.”
Everybody should have the opportunity to play tennis so as a coach it is my goal to be given that opportunity."
