Learn to play tennis this winter with our FREE four-week Tennis Programme for adults. 

Come along to our Tennis Courts for the next 4 Thursdays : 14th, 21st, 28th November and the 5th December.   It's your chance to get back in the game or to get into the swing of things if you're new to the game!

Our two mens div 5 teams took part in the Midland League quarter finals tonight. We had success in one match and the other missed out against a very strong Birr team. The club was represented well in both matches. A huge thanks to all who came to support home match and a special thanks again to the club women who provided fantastic catering for ourselves and our visitors. They complimented how the catering was delicious. Onwards to next Wednesday when we have a semi final against either Killaloe or Loughrea. ​

Wimbledon is starting very soon and you can join in the excitement and help raise funds for the Club.  For just 10€ you'll have a player of  your own competing in both the Ladies and the Mens Singles - and they don't even have to win for you to win a prize! 

Each ticketholder has 8 chances of winning 

1. Players exiting first round with at least games won - €30
2. Highest seeded player knocked out of quarter-finals - €30
3. Highest seeded player knocked out of semi-finals - €30
4. Winners of final - €50

On a warm sunny evening, the women of Ballinasloe and District Tennis Club rallied for their league finals, showcasing their skills on the court!

As the matches concluded, they swapped serves for slices, celebrating victories and camaraderie alike with an array of cakes that seemed to magically appear!

Amidst laughter and shared stories, they proved that whether on the court or at the dessert table, they were all winners in the game of friendship.

Best of luck to this dynamic duo as they go for gold at this year's Birr Open on the 13th May 2024. 

Robert and Emily Riddell came second last year to Portumna in Division 5 and are aiming to clinch the title in 2024!
